Message From Our Pastor

Dear Friends in Christ,

First Baptist Church, Clarksville is a Great Commission Church with an Acts 1:8 Vision to reach the world by reaching our home city, state, and nation. We are called of God to minister to Clarksville, Montgomery County, and to the military and families at Fort Campbell. Downtown Clarksville is our home base, and the world is our mission field.

We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible and the sufficiency of the Gospel of Christ. Our mission is “Knowing Christ, becoming like Christ, and making Christ known.”

Ice cream, watermelons, snow cones . . . Bible School, mission trips, vacation . . . bright sunshine, growing grass, robins and hummingbirds!  These are the signs of summer.

God made summer!  Genesis 8:22 says that the Lord made the four seasons to come each year after the Flood.  The seasons are a reminder of God’s tender balance and powerful hold upon the earth.

Seasons change, but God remains the same.  The seasons remind us of God’s tender and powerful control over our lives, ministries, and destinies.  Circumstances of life change, but God remains faithful in His love and plan for us.  Trust in Him without fear today.  He is the God of all the seasons of your life.

Christ‘s sacrificial death and powerful resurrection remind us there is no wavering of His love and providential design.  Rejoice in Him alone today.  Trust nothing but Him in your summers and your winters.  He is faithful.
I
hope you will join us soon for one of our worship services, Bible studies, or ministry events. Our prayer is to provide a place of growth, fellowship, and worship for you and your family. God bless you in every way as you walk with Him.

Gratefully Yours, In Christ,
Bro. Roger Signature
